Who Are We?

Edge Hill Early Learning offer families opportunity to bring their children prior to enrolment, this allows time for the children and their families to get to know our Educators and environments. We value our community, and every Educator strives to get to know every child and every parent that attends the service.

Once children feel this sense of belonging, they will be able to explore, discover, experiment, hypothesise, communicate, have fun and develop fully.

Children need to feel valued and loved and must feel comfortable in their environment before they can develop their full potential.

We have a strong partnership with Edge Hill State School where the kindergarten children visit regularly throughout the year, maintaining community connections. We value the partnerships we create with you, your family, members of the wider community and invite participation within our program in a variety of ways.

The service is guided by the National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education & Care which is effective from 1st Jan 2012. The Education & Care Services National Law & Regulations (2011) operate in conjunction with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline.

What we provide

We run a Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Program for our 4yr to school aged children. This is a full-time program which operates every day.

Every child has a Learning Journal that is available for you to look through with them and keep at the end of their time with us.

We communicate with you through email and Storypark to inform you of your child’s learning journey.

Our Philosophy

We see every child as a unique individual, each child is respected for their own interests, needs and personality.

At Edge Hill Early Learning we value our partnerships with families by caring for and educating your children to develop their social, physical, emotional, and thinking skills to achieve their full potential.

We have an active Reconciliation Action Plan, “Our Vision for reconciliation is for Edge Hill Early Learning CDC to create connections and embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives within the service.
