Family Day Care Cairns - Coordination Unit Staff

The key role of the coordination unit is to support and resource the highest standard of family day care for children. They are there to discuss your childcare needs, to provide information about childcare and to assist you to find the right carer and environment for your child. They are also there to monitor your child’s wellbeing, learning and progress.

The coordination unit works in partnership with carers to uphold organisational values, meet required Legislation, the National Child Care Accreditation and provide professional support.

Carers are visited regularly by the staff who also run play sessions and school holiday opportunities to assist in planning a variety of stimulating play experiences for all children involved.

Family Day Care Cairns is an approved child care service that is funded by the Australian Government. Family Day Care also offers Child Care Benefit to eligible families through the Family Assistance Office (Centrelink).

Family Day Care Cairns has been providing a unique and flexible child care service for the last 30 years. Our office is centrally located to the inner city suburbs of Cairns in the lush, green surrounding near the Botanical Gardens. The name of our building complements our location – Botanic House.
